Recap of Last Week’s Sermon: “The Power of The Pivot”

Last week, Minister Marcie Wilson inspired us with a sermon on “The Power of The Pivot,” focusing on the necessity and strength found in change.

Emphasizing adaptation, the sermon offered biblical wisdom and practical advice for embracing life’s shifts, identifying personal strengths, and navigating transitions with faith.

It was a call to view change as a growth opportunity, developing resilience and a mindset ready for God-led transformations, whether in careers, personal life, or spiritual journey.

The message encouraged us to trust divine guidance and confidently step into new chapters.

New Beginnings Await! Explore This Week’s Exciting Mars Hill Updates

✝️ Embracing New Beginnings – Mars Hill Anywhere Update 🌅

I hope this message finds you enjoying this season’s joy and renewal.

Last Sunday, an extraordinary Resurrection Sunday, we witnessed the beauty of our growing family—you filled every seat, and the air buzzed with heartfelt worship and unity. It was a vivid testament to the vibrant community we’re building together.

In this week’s reflection, I want to share a message that resonates deeply with the essence of renewal and hope: the concept of ‘Necessary Endings.’ Through personal stories and Scripture, we explore how life’s inevitable closures pave the way for new beginnings.

A Necessary Ending

Drawing inspiration from Dr. Henry Cloud’s book, Necessary Endings, and passages from John, Matthew, Ecclesiastes, Corinthians, and Isaiah, we’re reminded that every ending God orchestrates in our lives seeds the ground for future blessings and growth.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who has embraced ‘From Rubble to Renewal: The Nehemiah Strategy for Modern Times.’

Your support is invaluable, and it’s exciting to hear about the vibrant discussions and insights emerging from our life groups engaging with the book.

I’m ready to meet weekly, are you?

Looking ahead, we are eager to gather again every Sunday, both in person and online.

Yet, to make this a reality, we need more hands and hearts on deck, especially within our children’s ministry, usher teams, greeters, choir, and other vital areas. Your involvement would mean the world to us and the many lives we touch.

Additionally, we are navigating the practicalities of our mission—we need $5000 monthly to sustain our lease and support our dedicated staff. If you feel moved to contribute or volunteer, your generosity will help secure the foundation for our continued fellowship and outreach.

You can read about our “Beyond The Building Campaign” on our website.
