People ask me all the time "Pastor, who influences you?" Well, other than Jesus, I have a few people that I deeply admire. Some you know – some you may not know. For me, it helps to categorize and compartmentalize my mentors. Check this video out & you'll know why Apostle H. Daniel Wilson of Valley Kingdom Ministries International greatly influences me in the area of worship.
Simply put…they know how to do it! I confess, when I'm off on Sundays, this is where I worship.
What’s up Pastor!
I can definitely feel you on this one…I’ve been there about 4 times and each visit left me excited about worship and totally inspired by the “free worship” that I witnessed and experienced at that particular house of the Lord…..The messages were all timely and most definitely moved me in relationship to my personal life as well as the life of LYLAS….Funny thing is it was this time last year I visited and he was preaching on “The Second Half”…God is a second half God….just when you think it’s over…He ain’t done yet…We were taught to get ready for what God was about to do in the second half of the year beginning July 1st. I shared that message on the LYLAS call and we believed God was about to show up and show out in the second half…and he SHO NUFF did!
Looks like God has used you once again to speak a word into my life…thank you…the second half is almost around the corner….I’m walking, talking, standing, and believing in faith that God ain’t done with me yet and the best has yet to come for the second half of 2008!!!
Peace & Blessings to you…..
There goes them great minds once again….
OMG I absolutely LOVE this song. The lyrics cannot be any more simple, however the spirit and the truth behind this worship is so SERIOUS! I have to be careful when I listen to this song in my car because I slip into this worship that is unbelievable. I’m teary-eyed even now as the video plays (for the third time) in the background. It’s the same feeling I got when I first heard Praise is What I do.
Keisha, thanks for sharing that “Second Half” tidbit. I have been under major attack on my job this past month, and today, as our fiscal year has just come to an end, I am going to prepare for what God has in store for me in the second half of the year.
Good morning Pastor Stowers,
I love this song and it has become a daily inspiration for me. I cry everytime I hear it, but the cleasing start me off on a more open-hearted productive day. I just shared this with a friend who has had a weekend of tears and this is unlike her. I realize that we all have to cry sometimes, but too many days leads to many dark days. She is looking for the light. Jesus is the light and the way to a brighter day. This is why I have shared this video with her. Cry today for tomorrow is a new day.
Thank you for sharing this video with us.
Have a blessed day and week!
Yvonne
