Although grocery prices are rising, I have made a conscious effort to prepare my meals at home. Being a young, single, person with no children…it’s been challenging, but I’ve saved money and lost a few pounds.
When purchasing a gallon of milk costs $5.00 not that blows! This year I have planted a garden and adjusted my diet, eating a healthier vegetarian and chicken diet, no I will not be raising no farm animals. Just limiting the items I have to spend extra money on. Besides my vegetables are pestiside free – organic. LOL, me a farm girl, LOL.
On a side note, they just making it hard for a brother at the Whitehouse. They will serve his presidency up with a pile of “stanking poopoo.”
In light of the economy and the extremely high gas prices which are having a domino effect on almost everything else, I plan my trips to grocery store, Sam’s Club, etc. I have always reviewed the sales paper from Ultra, Jewel, but I really look at who has what, so that I can attempt to make my trip to the store efficient.
I have a mid-size car and when $20.00 only buy me a little more than a quarter of a tank of gas, it is time for me to buy a Vespa Scooter. I can see me now riding to church on my Vespa with helmet and all.
