Why We Had One In-Person Service in August

August has been a busy month for many of us, with travel for vacations, conferences, kid’s sports activities, and family reunions on the rise.

Many families are taking more than the old standard of one vacation a year, enjoying time away, whether it’s camping, visiting friends, or spending a weekend at the lake. When people are out of town, they tend not to be in church.

Additionally, as I continue to physically recover from surgery, the process has taken longer than I anticipated. While my mind remains sharp, I tire quicker and require more time to recover after preaching. Though I’m stronger than I was, I’m grateful for the progress and look forward to returning to full strength soon.
